I was commissioned by Dr. Kyriakos Stylianou, Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, to showcase the new General Chemistry Laboratory his team developed. This inquiry-based lab is one of a kind in undergraduate education. Focused on metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) for water purification, it gives students hands-on experience designing, conducting, and presenting their own experiments.
The goal was not only to document the lab work in action but also to capture the perspectives of both students and staff, creating an authentic promotional video for undergraduate recruitment. Coordinating interviews and lab footage within very limited time windows was a challenge, but with careful planning and teamwork, the project came together successfully.
